Using the Olmpics to kick start some technology use in school

With 55 nationalities/cultures in our schools is there an avenue where our students can connect to their athletes via a live chat forum or track simply sending messages of encouragement. It may be a motivating move to encourage teachers to allow students to log on each day and send a message, view an event etc.
Perhaps a webcam link from Beijing to the ESF site to begin

Hi Peter
actually I am already running such a project on the CLC with a group of students from WIS. It's been a huge success cos they run it and now have links with students in Beijing, HK, UK and soon US of A!. Would you like to meet the editors - I can bring them over to RCHK - they would love to see your school. I recently took two to a conference in Singapore where they showcased their work to local teachers
