To achieve Vision 2012 leadership at all levels will be able to review and evaluate effective practice of Learning Technology and be able to manage, promote and support such practice within their area of responsibility.
  • Each school Senior Leadership Team should have a designated and qualified member with the specific role of Learning Technology development and strategic guidance.
  • leaders at all levels have a performance management target for learning technology
  • The school self review framework includes metrics for evaluating the effective use of learning technology to support formal and informal learning
  • School reforms in teaching and learning are informed by appropriate use of learning technology
  • subject and year leaders are well informed about how technology can benefit teaching and learning
  • all middle management leaders have received professional development in how technology enhances learning
  • All school leaders responsible for learning technology have attended courses such as SLICT.
  • schools actively support staff staff who have a PM target for technology
  • SLT's regularly review the impact of LT on learning and teaching
  • there is a professional development programme in place to support leadership of learning technology, linked to HE
  • schools have reviewed their current structures for leadership of technology and learning.
  • subject and year leaders have taken respsonsibility for managing the use of LT in their domains
  • all schools have implemented a framework along with metrics for measuring impact of LT in teaching and learning
  • effective practice is well known across the ESF and celebrated
